"Movements of God transcend human explanation. Revival and prayer movements are prime examples. Among the young, God used one youth group praying around theRichard Ross flag pole to launch a world-wide movement almost overnight. God used one youth group making clear promises of purity to launch an equally explosive movement. I see the L.I.T. movement in the same way. The training and mobilization of preteens for evangelism and missions, in one congregation, now has become a movement. The L.I.T. movement recognizes that preteens are filled with the Spirit, are filled with His gifts and abilities, and come under the Great Commission and Great Commandment today—the same as all believers. As a youth leader, I look forward to the day when teenagers will enter youth groups nationwide—having already spent several years accelerating the harvest of the lost." Richard Ross, PhD, is professor of student ministry at Southwestern Seminary and co-founder of True Love Waits

"When a child discovers God's love in a personal way, it is wonderful to behold. But when they are allowed to be "full partners" on God's mission, when God works throughTom Victor them to touch others - right now - as children, the results are dramatic. Those experiences tend to mark children for life. Leaders In Training has fully embraced this hidden potential. They prepare preteens to be on mission with God. The results speak for themselves. Children discover their purpose and their true identity in Christ. Families and churches uncover multi-generational approaches to ministry. Communities experience Christ - in the most unexpected way - in and through the lives of His little ones. Jesus told us to, "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them." Leaders In Training is living this command out and discovering a whole new world of ministry impact in the process. I'm a big fan. That's why we've asked them to be part of our 4 to 14 Window North American Team. If you are a pastor or ministry leader, check it out. Parents and grandparents are welcome as well." Tom Victor is President of The Great Commission Coalition and serves as Facilitator for the 4 to 14 Window Movement North American Region

“Though I have ministered to teenagers all my life, in recent years I’ve observed God raising up a burgeoning worldwide movement to reach and mobilize children and Paul at 40thpreteens. Here in the U.S., one of the leading examples of this is L.I.T. Ministries. In a recent global conference for the “4-to-14 Window Movement” in Thailand, it was emphasized that children are not only the aim of our mission, they should be agents of that mission as well. A Singapore pastor said: “God is starting to move children in ways that the church has never really understood... doing things that we thought only adults could do before." I highly respect that L.I.T. Ministries doesn’t wait for children to grow up to begin ministering to others. They are actively demonstrating how to equip them as full partners, holding them in the same high regard that God Himself does.” Paul Fleischmann, President Emeritus, National Network of Youth Ministries

Paul Yoakum"There is a crisis of youth who leave to go off to college and stop going to church. If they do come back when they get married and have children, we find it hard to get them to serve. The reason for the crisis is a failure in our curriculum for teaching children and youth. If they are old enough for salvation, then they are old enough to learn that God has gifted them with spiritual gifts that they need to use in serving. L.I.T. addresses this failure and provides a program where children can not only learn to have daily quiet times and grow spiritually, but can also use their gifts to serve others. I have seen L.I.T. used to help elementary children learn to serve as praise team leaders, audio/visual technicians, Gospel presenters and Bible lesson leaders. The L.I.T curriculum has even equipped children to lead Vacation Bible School for other children in apartment complexes and to lead out effectively on mission trips. Children from the L.I.T. curriculum move into the youth department equipped to serve and taught that service is the natural part of the Christian Life. I believe a program like this helps our churches end this crisis and enables us to accomplish what Jesus commanded us to do "Make Disciples". Mark Yoakum Ph.D., Director of Church Ministries, Southern Baptists of Texas Convention

“I cannot stress how valuable LIT has been in the life of my own son and the children that I have had the joy of observing as God usedJohnny Deuron LIT in their lives.  No other ministry that I have ever seen has equipped children to walk with God on their own, develop their own ministry skills, actively involve them in ministry itself, and prepare them for a lifetime of ministry for Jesus than LIT!  What a wakeup call to how God uses His children to make His name known to others at this critical time in our world!” Johnny L. Derouen, PhD., Associate Professor of Student Ministry, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
