Ministry Opportunities
Get ready—your discipleship journey is about to become an exciting adventure! One of the greatest joys of leading children is helping them discover who they are in Christ and how God wants to use them right now.

Every child in your group is deeply loved by God. They are children of the King of kings and Lord of lords, and He has created them with a unique purpose. God has gifted them to serve others and make an impact for His Kingdom.

1 Peter 4:10 reminds us: “As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another…” That means your disciples are not just the church of tomorrow—they are called to serve today! Through the Holy Spirit, God has already equipped them with everything they need to grow, serve, encourage others, and share His love.

As a mentor, one of your most important roles is to help children discover and use their gifts. Pray for wisdom and discernment as you guide them.

As a Preteen Ministry or Kids' Ministry, your goal is to create ministry roles for preteens to serve and minister. Through service, their gifts begin to manifest in different ways, which allow you to take them further and discover God's purpose for their lives.
Look for opportunities each week to invite children to lead, serve, pray, encourage others, share Scripture, welcome guests, help with ministry projects, and participate in missions.

The best way to teach children how to minister is to let them do ministry. As you encourage and equip them, you will be amazed at how God works through their lives. Their spiritual gifts will manifest before your eyes.

We are not simply leading a group—you are helping raise up the next generation of disciple-makers and Kingdom leaders.

That is the heart of Leaders In Training to help preteens fully embrace God's purpose for their lives.
