It is hard to believe that 21 years ago we took our first mission trip to Corpus Christi, Texas. I had no idea what to expect. I felt led by the Lord to train our preteens to do everything (lead Bible studies, lead worship, counsel…everything). I asked the adults to step back and let the young leaders lead the whole trip. (See picture to the right)

I was apprehensive as we took twenty-seven preteens on a six-and-a-half-hour drive to Corpus Christi. Some questioned me before we left on the trip, and it allowed the enemy to get me believing I had missed the Lord. My doubts were quickly removed on the first day of our journey in the apartment complex. An 11-year-old boy stood up at one of our ministry locations and taught a lesson. He tucked his Bible under his arm, gave an invitation, and seven people came to Christ—three were teenagers.

Fast forward. By God’s grace, I will join the kids this summer on our 41st and 42nd mission trips in Oklahoma. What a joy it has been throughout these past 21 years to watch the Holy Spirit move powerfully through preteens and students! There are a lot of great things happening with L.I.T.

International Student Mission Trips
Our five-year international ministry plan aims to empower leaders worldwide to take kids on mission trips to their cities, villages, and countries. We are excited to take our training to the next level by providing the resources for this to happen. If you would like to sponsor a trip for kids in another country, you can do so for a donation of $1,000. Click this link to donate.

New Revised Training Handbook
During the past few months, we’ve met with several of our international leaders to review and update our training handbook. With their input and 23 years of observation of kids on mission, we've refined the handbook to include a discipleship model that helps leaders see children as young apprentices of Christ. We're currently making final edits. Once it is completed, Clint will meet with a team from Operation Christmas Child for insight on working with indigenous people groups.

We need your help. When the training handbook is finalized, we plan to translate it into the 12 different languages we are working with. Each translation costs around $600 to $700. If you’d like to sponsor a translation, you can do so by [clicking here].

Russ Zacek Update
Praise the Lord! Russ will be joining the L.I.T. Ministries team on April 15th. He has a vision from the Lord for our work here in the United States. We are forever grateful for the Lord’s faithfulness in providing for Russ. Please continue to pray for Russ as he embraces the vision the Lord has given him for children and preteens in the United States. Click here for an update from Russ.

Five-Year International Plan
To maximize our impact, we have strategically selected and equipped core indigenous leaders involved in children’s ministry worldwide. We empower them to disciple and train others, creating a multiplying effect in their communities. Through these efforts, we have trained leaders throughout Africa, Asia, and South America, many of whom have expanded the mission within their cities and countries. As an interdenominational ministry, we remain committed to uniting believers across denominational lines to raise up young disciples who are equipped to lead, serve using their spiritual gifts, and advance the Kingdom of God. Contact Clint May at clint@leadersintraining.com if you would like a copy of our five-year plan for L.I.T. Ministries.

L.I.T. Ministries: Four Purposes of Biblical Finances
Giving: L.I.T. Ministries is dedicated to supporting the global church by providing training and resources to churches in third-world countries at no cost. This is made possible through donations, resource sales in the U.S., and mission trips.
Provisions: We seek financial stability to adequately support our staff and ensure their needs are met as they serve in ministry.
Abundance: As our ministry expands in the U.S., we aim to extend our resources and training internationally, equipping churches without financial barriers.
Offering: Following Jesus’ command, “Freely you have received, freely give” (Matt. 10:8b), we view our financial stewardship as an offering to the church, ensuring that discipleship resources reach those in need.
Dr. Clint May (above) is leading an online training with pastors and leaders in India. There was no charge for these leaders to attend the two-day training event.
