Children’s Ministry in Uganda | L.I.T. Training in Action
Newsletter – October 2026
God is at work in Uganda! Last year, L.I.T. Ministries trained church leaders who are now putting what they learned into action—reaching children with the Gospel, discipling them to follow Jesus, and empowering them for ministry! We celebrate these leaders’ passion for raising up young disciple makers. Watch this encouraging update and join us in praying for the children and churches of Uganda! Watch their stories on YouTube.
Help Children Share Christ Along the Zambia–Namibia Border!
October 15–17, Isaac Mphande will partner with local churches in the Sesheke–Katina border communities to mobilize children to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with those around them. What an exciting opportunity to see children put their faith into action as missionaries of the Gospel! We need $1,550 by October 10 to cover travel and trip expenses. Will you help sponsor this mission trip? Your gift will help make it possible for children to share the hope and love of Christ with others!
L.I.T. Training in South America, October 24–31
An exciting opportunity is ahead as Steve R. and Kyle Q. travel to Cartagena, Colombia, to equip pastors and ministry leaders to disciple children, prepare them for ministry, and release them to share the Gospel! Pray that God will prepare hearts, strengthen these leaders, and multiply the impact through the children they serve. Please pray for Steve and Kyle’s safety, God’s grace as they lead, and safe travels there and back.
Help Launch The Cross Life—A New Discipleship Adventure!
We’re inviting churches, families, and Christian organizations to test The Cross Life, our new 12-week Bible study and resource designed to help children build spiritual habits for a lifetime and become disciple makers themselves! The goal is to help children read God’s Word daily, surrender to Christ’s lordship, and pray while learning to serve through their spiritual gifts, share the Gospel, and help others follow Jesus. Join us in testing this resource and help equip children to become disciples who make disciples! There is no cost to take part in the project! If you want to take part in testing this new resource, email clint@leadersintraining.com.
What’s Next? Dr. Clint May
Exciting opportunities are ahead for L.I.T.! The Lord has given us a season to reset, strengthen our resources, and prepare for growth across the U.S. and around the world. We have revised all preteen devotionals and leader guides for grades 4–6, and we plan to begin testing The Cross Life Bible study and discipleship guide in the U.S. and internationally in 2027!
I am deeply grateful for Russ Zacek, whose passion for the Lord and this ministry is an answer to prayer. He has brought fresh energy and excitement to our work! This fall, Russ is leading further revisions to our L.I.T. materials and developing an 18-week rite-of-passage Bible study designed to equip preteens to become disciple makers themselves.
Please pray with us as we step into this next season with faith and anticipation. Your prayers and support help make this ministry possible. Thank you for partnering with us to equip children to follow Christ, serve others, and share the Gospel!
