We are thrilled to celebrate the launch of our first L.I.T. group in Honduras! This past fall, Abby Castro and Ana Martinez from Vine and Branches Ministry traveled to Honduras to lead a training event, equipping leaders to begin the discipleship process with children.
It is a joy to see God moving as young lives are shaped into leaders and missionaries. Please join us in praying for the Holy Spirit’s guidance over the leadership in Honduras and for the Lord to raise up a new generation of disciples who will impact their communities for Christ.
We Have Never Heard Teaching Like This by Dr. Clint May
Over the past 36 years, our eyes have been opened to a new spiritual reality when it comes to children. They are His (Christ’s) Church today. When released to serve the King of kings, He uses kids powerfully in ministry and sharing the Good News of Christ.
In 2015, the Lord gave us a vision to develop a training model to take what we learned and share it worldwide. At first, we thought more about the U.S., and then He expanded the ministry internationally. The difference here is that it is His vision and His ministry. I trained some pasters in India years ago, and one of them said afterward, “We have never heard teaching like this before.” I love seeing the Holy Spirit open His people’s eyes to something brand new (Isaiah 43:19).
I am excited about the future and where the Lord is taking us. Continue praying for Russ Zacek. He will be joining us full-time, Lord willing, this spring after raising his full support. Russ is an incredible man of God. He deeply loves the Lord and has a vision to grow this ministry here. The Lord is turning my focus now on our international ministry opportunities. I am also forever grateful that Heidi Hayslip joined our team. She and her husband Joel serve as missionaries in Burkina Faso, Africa. They have brought much wisdom to the table to help grow our work worldwide. Thank you so much for believing in L.I.T. Ministries. We are deeply grateful for your prayers and support.
Training Updates and Revisions
We have asked leaders from around the world to help us update our training handbook to be more effective in their culture. We plan to reduce the size of the handbook and remove anything that does not apply in third-world countries. The current handbook has been used to train over 5,000 leaders. Many have taken what they have learned and taught others.

Report From Russ Zacek
January and February have been powerful months of collaboration with partners, casting the vision for the future of L.I.T. Ministries in the U.S., and effectively raising support. I have met with 44 people, which has led to 36 partnerships, raising more than 50% of my total budget in 6 weeks!!
I have been referred to 39 churches to follow up with once I am fully funded. My trip to upstate NY was very fruitful. I met with partners and preached at Redeeming Love Fellowship Church about the power and fruit of Leaders In Training. I also met with Pastor Phil McNeill, the head of Elim Fellowship, a network of 125 churches, and I have been invited to share at their annual conference in May 2026. My next partner trip to Georgia and Florida kicks off this Thursday, February 26, through Tuesday, March 4. Please pray for traveling mercies and great, fruitful meetings with my partners along the way. L.I.T. is the slow-burning revival that will ignite the next great awakening in the local church through the next generations. God has been moving and blessing my efforts and travels, and my prayer and hopeful expectation is to be fully funded within 100 days on or before April 10.
