Raising Up Bold Faith: How One Student Reached Millions

Before Leaders in Training, even though I grew up in a strong Christian home, I didn’t truly have a personal relationship with God or know how to study the Bible. LIT changed that—it helped me step out in faith and grow confident in my walk with Christ.

Five months ago, I started a Christian YouTube channel to share the Gospel. It has now reached over 2.4 million people, with more than 13,000 followers.

I’ve gone from being a nervous kid to boldly sharing my faith at 17. It’s been an incredible blessing. LIT is a powerful way to help young people truly know Jesus on a deeper level.(Shane participated in Leaders in Training at Church Alive in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina.)

From Reaching Kids to Raising Disciple-Makers

For over 35 years, God has allowed me to serve in children’s ministry—but the mission has grown deeper. We are not just reaching kids with the Gospel; we are discipling them, equipping them, and sending them out to live on mission.

After an inspiring visit with Operation Christmas Child’s global leadership team, God led us to develop The Cross Life—a powerful 12-week discipleship journey designed to take children deeper in Christ and multiply their impact as they disciple others.
